In the Stelvio National Park, on the boundary of the Swiss National Park, the Alpine Hut, run by the Pienzi family, offers two independent apartments, equipped with all comforts, which are ideal for spending a relaxing holiday in the spectacular nature of Val Fraele and the Cancano Lakes.

The apartments are available on a weekly basis and offer bedrooms with 4 + 1 beds and 6 + 2 beds, bathrooms, a kitchenette, a lounge with a fireplace, an external barbecue and a garage for bicycles, motorbikes or other equipment.

The Alpine Hut is fitted with satellite television, a fridge, a wood burning stove with oven, hot water, heating and electricity, which is generated from the photovoltaic system, permitting a use limited to the primary requirements of the apartment.

Also included is the wood supply for the stoves and the fireplace, the blankets, tablecloths, tableware and a fixed mobile phone, which can only be operated with a Vodafone SIM card.

The main groceries should be purchased in the Bormio area, while in the valley where the Alpine Hut is situated, you can purchase from the alpine refuges and farmhouses: milk, butter and fresh cheeses, all hand-made products, produced with age-old Valtellinese methods and traditions.

Considering the particular position of the Alpine Hut, it is possible to stay from late spring to the first days of autumn and only in this period, it can be reached by motor vehicle, respecting the local laws which prohibit the use of motorised vehicles in the valley from 10 am to 4 pm every day.
